Introduction
In recent years, the importance of sustainable tourism has gained recognition due to its potential to foster identity formation, promote inclusive societies, and reduce inequality. The ECOPACAYA 4.0 project is an innovative platform that leverages Tourism 4.0 technologies to promote ecotourism, scientific tourism, and sustainable use of the ecosystem in the Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge Private Reserve in the Amazon Jungle of Peru. This work explores the role of the project in fostering identity formation, inclusive societies, and reducing inequality in the region.

Objectives
The objectives of this work are as follows:

1. To investigate the role of the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project in fostering identity formation among visitors and collaborators of the ecolodge.
2. To analyze how the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project promotes inclusivity in the tourism industry and local communities.
3. To assess the impact of the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project in reducing inequality by promoting sustainable tourism practices and supporting the local economy.

Methodology
The study employs the qualitative method approach. The primary data collection method is a survey administered to ecolodge visitors and collaborators. The survey will focus on measuring the impact of the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project on their perceptions of identity formation, inclusivity, and sustainable tourism practices. The survey will also gather information on visitors’ demographics and travel behaviour. In addition, interviews with local community members, tourism industry professionals, and government officials allow focus on the project’s impact on identity formation, inclusivity, and sustainable tourism practices in the region.

Results
The preliminary results of the survey indicate that the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project has a positive impact on visitors’ and collaborators’ perceptions of identity formation, inclusivity, and sustainable tourism practices. Specifically, the majority of respondents reported feeling a stronger connection to nature and the local culture after experiencing the platform. Furthermore, respondents reported that the platform enhanced their overall experience by providing real-time information on the ecosystem, biodiversity, and culture of the reserve.

The qualitative data from the interviews highlight the positive impact of the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project on local community members, particularly in terms of job creation, promotion of renewable energy, and support for local businesses. The project has also improved communication and collaboration between the tourism industry, local communities, and government agencies, leading to the development of sustainable tourism practices that benefit the environment and the local economy.

Discussion
The findings suggest that the ECOPACAYA 4.0 project plays a significant role in fostering identity formation, promoting inclusivity, and reducing inequality in the region. The project provides visitors with an immersive and educational experience that fosters a connection to nature and local culture. Additionally, the project promotes inclusivity by supporting the local economy and creating job opportunities for community members. Moreover, the project facilitates collaboration between stakeholders, leading to the development of sustainable tourism practices that benefit both the environment and the local economy.
